In 1995 Slepe Hall Hotel was one of the first venues to gain a license to hold civil weddings. Since then, we have grown to be a popular venue with our elegantly refurbished Cromwell Room proving to be popular for ceremonies all year round.

From the 1st January 2003, we are pleased to be able to offer civil wedding ceremonies on a Sunday and some bank holidays throughout the year.

Civil ceremonies are not allowed to contain anything of a religious nature. All guests must be seated during the ceremony. Room hire for civil ceremonies is £75.

The actual civil wedding ceremony needs to be arranged with the local registrar who may be contacted at:

We are licensed to hold civil partnerships. As a modern and vibrant hotel, we welcome both gay and lesbian couples to hold their commitment ceremony at Slepe Hall.

Slepe Hall is the perfect place to hold a Renewal of Marriage Vows ceremony to reconfirm your commitment to your husband or wife.

Following a ceremony there is a choice of the Restaurant, the Cromwell Room or the Brunel Suite for your wedding breakfast. The Restaurant seats 65, the Cromwell Room seats 50 and the Brunel Suite accommodates up to 250 guests.
